The Rules of Adswaps

By Paul Wilson · Comments (19)

Hey guys,

I haven’t posted here for a while as I have been busy creating my video series as per my last post.

These should be available to ALL that left me a comment within the next week or so, and public release within 2 weeks :-)

I wanted to create this video for you today …

If you are using adswaps as one of the ways to build your list, this if for you!

I just wanted to touch on my experiences and, in my opinion, the do’s and don’ts …

As always I would love to hear your comments, and if you want to set up an adswap feel free to leave me a comment or email me through my contact me page :-)

Talk soon,

Paul

Hey Peeps,

Well, it’s been nearly a month since my last post … (boy how time flies!) … and I just wanted to give you an update of my progress and my plans over the next few weeks …
calendar
My list is currently standing at just under 2200 subscribers :-)

I have pretty much been doing much of the same since my last post with regards to list building, and things are starting to move forward much quicker now …

As part of my listbuilding efforts, I have started offering Dean Holland’s “Google Traffic System” as part of my opt-in process.  For those of you that know Dean, you will know the amount of time and effort that he has put into this … and that the quality is top notch, over delivering as always ;-)

He is even including his entire coaching program for free as part of this.  If you haven’t already, head over and at least grab the free interview that Dean has done with Lee McIntyre!! Read More→

Hey people,

At this second in time, my mailing list stands at 1302 people, and I thought I would write a quick post on how I have achieved this so quickly…

from NOTHING!

My first subscriber on Aweber was on the 22 August 2009. Previous to that I had an account with GetResponse, of which I only managed to move around 20 people over from. Many were VERY old and some were imported from lists etc in a previous lifetime!  I moved to Aweber for the enhanced functionality that they offer over and above other auto responder systems.

So how have I achieved over 1300 subscribers in 9 weeks? Read More→

Hey guys,

Well, it’s been just over a week since I submitted my Press Release, and I wanted to update you on the results as promised ;-)

imagesThe official stats from prweb as of Saturday (exactly one week after release) are that I have received 899 reads of it on the official prweb website.  This does not account for reads that have occurred elsewhere (if any!)

I had no idea of what to expect with this…

BUT I am pretty happy with it so far.

So what has this resulted in clicks to my blog? Read More→

Hey people,

Screen shot 2009-10-03 at 22.42.32

As you may or may not know, I have been talking about doing it for a couple of weeks…

YES, I have finally got round to releasing my FIRST Press Release!

It only went live this morning, so I have no real results to show for it so far.

Oh, apart from the PR is on the front page of google for the search Paul Wilson, which is pretty cool with a common name such as mine…lol :-)

Yeah ok it’s right at the bottom, but i’m pretty pleased with that in just a few hours. Read More→

Hey guys,

I mentioned in my previous post about heading up to London for the SpeedCash Seminar over the weekend…

Well, I managed to get there, and I met a few of the guys from Alex Jeffreys coaching course (both past and present)…

Including the famous Alex Jeffreys himself :-) Read More→

Hey guys,

I haven’t posted here for a few days, so thought I would post a quick update on what I have been up to for the last week or so!

WELL…

video-ads-rssI’ve updated my blog with a slightly better video than the last, although it’s still not perfect…

The last one had my web address right across the entire video and people said they couldn’t see my ugly mug…

SO I thought I’d put up a new one…

It’s just over to the right, so I HOPE it’s better :-)

Apart from this, I have been concentrating on driving traffic and list building. Read More→

In module 6, Alex Jeffreys explained to us his Triple Threat Affiliate System.
It is all about a way to increase your email open and click trough rates using Aweber.  I am pretty sure that the other autoresponder providers don’t include these tools, but I am sure someone will prove me wrong…
Aweber enables you to track subscribers that open emails and click through to the links within the emails.  A sub list can then be created of the people that didn’t open, and / or didn’t click the links with the emails which is pretty cool.
You can then re-send the original email under a different subject line to these people, without effectively spamming the people that have already opened it…
This is just SO powerful it’s unreal!
You can then drill down many levels, and send 4 or 5 emails to the people that constantly don’t open them.
Each time you send out a broadcast, you will typically get 20% open rate, so the more you drill down, the higher the overall percentage of people will open them.
This can effectively DOUBLE your open and click throughs from that of a single email!
I have created this video to show you exactly how to do this.
VIDEO
Let me know if this helps you, and if there are any other parts of Aweber you would like me to explain, just ask!!
Speak soon,
Paul

In module 6, Alex Jeffreys explained his “Triple Threat Affiliate System” in great detail, which I wanted to share with you here :-)

This is a VERY powerful way to increase your email open and click through rates using Aweber, and I am pretty sure that the other autoresponder providers don’t include these tools.

I don’t want to rant on for ages, as I have created a video explaining the whole process…

This is just SO powerful it’s unreal!

If there are any other parts of Aweber you would like me to explain in more detail, just ask!!

Leave me a comment with your thoughts!

Take care,

Paul

Garry Simpson has tasked us to come up with 25 things about ourselves and write on our blogs.

I have been tagged by Peter Davies and Marcus Passey.

It’s actually quite tough.  The first 15 or so are dead easy, but I really had to rack my poor little brain for the rest, so enjoy!

I’m sure I’m gonna regret some of these, but here goes anyway… Read More→
